Schultz, Lucille (Marriage - 20 Jan. 1945)
Miss Lucille Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schultz, of Abbotsford, Route 1, became the bride of Raymond Waldhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Waldhart, of Stetsonville, Saturday afternoon, at 1:30. The marriage ceremony was performed in the Lutheran Reformed church at Dorchester with the Rev. Pauloweit of Medford officiating.
For the occasion the bride wore a gown of white satin with lace trim. Her fingertip veil fell from a head dress of pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Carmen. She wore a frock of peach net with head dress to match and a shoulder corsage of pink carnations.
Mrs. Darold Freimund of Stratford, sister of the bride and Miss Jean Arquette, of Colby, Wisconsin were the other attendants of the bride. Mrs. Freimund wore a lavender brocade taffeta frock with net skirt and Miss Arquette wore old rose taffeta. They wore matching head dresses and shoulder corsages of pink carnations.
Herbert Waldhart, only brother of the groom, was best man and Wallace Schultz and Darold Freimund were ushers.
A reception for members of the families was held at the home of the bride’s parents. About 60 guests were present.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at Cherokee, which was attended by many of their relatives and friends from Abbotsford, Colby, Milan, Stetsonville and Medford.
Mr. and Mrs. Waldhart are making their home in Wausau where both plan to be employed. The groom has just returned from the army, having received a medical discharge.
